This is my first custom painted hat.  The design is a wooden all seeing cyclops Sphinx in a wooden Egyption landscape.  The bottom of the bill is also wood grain with a 3-d Wooden star tetrahedron space portal.
More custom painted hats to come in the future, I have 3 more sitting at the house waiting to be worked on.

This is on a Lids7 5/8 Fitted hat, Brown Pin-stripe.

This is for sale @ $115, or best offer, feel free to email me at cj@cjaxtheimer.com or find me on Facebook, Christian Jaxtheimer for more work or to contact me about custom hats.

PS
Mad respect to all of you hat painters out there, working on these surfaces is definatly a constant struggle.  Wearable art = love

Galactivate your Paint!!! Electric Forest Paintings!

First off I want to thank Tribe 13, and especially Andrew Okeefe, and Patrick Sellers for manifesting an amazing live art environment at Electric Forest.  Two and a half weeks before the festival these guys invited both of us (and 5 other painters) to come paint for free at EFF and were given a large vending booth to turn into a visionary live painting gallery.  The music all weekend was on point, but the people and experiences we shared creating art and inspiring others was exponentially inspiring.

Big thanks to Rae Vena, Ashley Foreman, Andy Reed, Michael Garfield, Jared the Lost Sailor Grizzly Ladies man & Chelsea Graeber for sharing out space and making it truly magical.

This first piece was painted with Toubab Crewe, Stephen Marley, and one epic thunder storm.
16"x36" - Acrylic and Ink on framed Masonite.
This piece is sold, but I will have high res poster prints, and super amazing canvas giclee prints available soon.  Feel free to email me at cj@cjaxtheimer.com for info on print prices.  Also look out for this on a Concious Alliance poster soon.

This piece was painted with The New Deal, Emancipator and Cirque de Womp.  A little raunchier than I normally go, but this had some of the best responses to any piece of done before.
30" by 18", ink, acrylic and mixed media on frame masonite.  This piece is also sold, but will have high res poster prints and giclee canvas prints coming very soon!

This final piece was done with none other than The String Cheese Incident on saturday night of the festival.  This piece is unfinished but should be done early next week for your viewing pleasure.
This is 30" by 8", acrylic ink and mixed media.  This one will be for sale once finished.

Now for Andrew Wagners pieces.

This piece is 18" by 32" and was painted at various shows within EFF.  This one is $400.  Email me @ cj@cjaxtheimer.com for more info.

This piece was also painted at various EFF shows, it is 18" by 30" - the price is $500, email me at cj@cjaxtheimer.com for more info.

On a side note I never posted the price for the Sloth painting, it is 16" by 36" and the price is $400.

This last piece was a colab started between myself, Andrew Wagner, Andy Reed and Ashley Foreman the last day of EFF.  This is a huge 6ft wide piece which will be worked on and finished at Blackwater and Bear Creek Festival then auctioned at Bear Creek for charity.

For additional info on any piece of purchasing inquiries, please email me at cj@cjaxtheimer.com  I am going to the photographer today to get super high res shots of the first two images for giclee canvas prints so I will have exact prices and specs on those soon.

Electric Forest Prints

Hey everyone I met at EFF.  I asked a lot of you to email me about prints of the big ass + boombox painting (Space woofers).  I am going to get that and the blue painting with the headphones girl photographed tomorrow for both high res canvas giclee prints and cheaper poster prints.  Drop me an email @ cj@cjaxtheimer.com if your interested.  I should have prices soon.  WIll probably be around 15-20 for poster prints and around $125 for giclee prints, which will be super nice stretched canvas prints that will last forever.

I should have all the EFF painting pictures up tomorrow

If any of you are gonna be at Electric Forest, I'm gonna be hanging out all weekend selling these shirts.  There printed on SOft style gildan tees (similar cut/feel to american apparel).  Sizes S-XL.  This mock up is aprox. sized to a medium.

I'm also going to be doing live painting all weekend, and will have paintings set up in the Tribe 13 Art Gallery in the festival grounds.  Hope to see you guys next week!

Black Rock Galaxy Part 2

Started this painting at a Green House Lounge show about a month ago.  The show had a really low turnout, and the beer was $5 a pitcher so I decided after an hour to just party with my girl so its been sitting unfinished.  Had the day off today and it rained so I sat down and finished this guy.
Basic story, last time we cut down a huge 4ft by 8ft piece of masonite to make boards out of we had this awkward 5" by 30" strip left that I thought was such a strange proportion that I had to do something with it.  So from that came this painting, decided to revisit some of the motifs from my earlier painting "Black Rock Galaxy"

This is 5" by 30" on a framed masonite board.  Acrylic, ink and some cut paper.  Also a couple close ups to show the incredible paper textures.
This piece is for sale for $150.  Also due to unforseen financial situation, the original Black Rock Galaxy piece is also back on the market for $250.  Here is an image.
This is 15" by 30", acrylic ink and cut paper on framed masonite.

Feel free to email me at cj@cjaxtheimer.com for inquiries.

Green House Lounge CD Release Party

Just got back from the Green House Lounge cd release party @ the Freebird, me and Andrew Wagner both painted for GHL, Up Until Now, and Lucky Costello.  Both paintings are 18" by 36", acrylic on framed masonite.

I sold this piece at the show, so unfortunetly I had to take some photos in the freebird which are a little sub par.  You can pick up some better details in the action shots.

This next piece is the one that Andrew Wagner did at the show of a Sloth.  18"x36"
email Andrew Wagner at majikedysin@gmail.com for details on this one, for sale.

Finally, this is the Rock Against Cancer Benefit painting that Andrew Donated
